Co-founded in September 2019 in Goma by two students in IT management, the startup UPDEV was created to give young people a space of creativity to contribute to solving community problems thanks to Technology.

AgroApp is a mobile application connected to a soil sensor that will send data back to the application with a very low margin of error on the condition of the soil, data that will allow the grower to know precisely when to plant a seed, where to plant it, and how to plant it taking into account the period and the condition of the soil, it can also be discussed on a growers' forum to reduce the most errors in the cultivation of this or that other seed to maximize harvests. The farmer or agricultural production company will also have the possibility of having all the information on the seeds to be planted. AgroApp will also allow farmers to know the weather daily to help them with their different seeds.

# The Main Lines of AgroApp:
AgroApp comes to help farmers to maximize their productivity by giving them the possibility of having information on the cultivation of their seeds.

## Simple User Interface
Possibility of obtaining all the information necessary to plant this or that other seed.

## Interface administrator
This part concerns agronomists, they are responsible for entering the necessary information on the cultivation of several seeds. They obtain its information based on experiments carried out in the field using the application and its sensors.

## Farmer interface 
It is a private space where the farmer can enter his information thanks to the sensors connected to the application, allowing him to retrieve the various information on the properties of his soil.

Despite all of its blessings, the Democratic Republic of Congo has a delicate 
national health infrastructure that is now facing the most severe challenge during the 
COVID-1 9 pandemic. With the lessons we learned from Ebola, we have well-trained 
teams to combat infectious diseases. However. the transmission rate of the new 
coronavirus, responsible for COVID-19, imposes a challenge of a completely different 
magnitude. 

As an international group of African scientists and technologists, we would like to bring 
the power of mathematics, data analysis, and modeling to fight the pandemic in one of 
the most challenging battlegrounds. We can count on the extensive network of African 
scientists around the world, such as the Next Einstein Forum, to work on this problem. 
As we get results, we will integrate them into this dashboard. 

We will collect the underlying data ourselves by following the daily publications from the 
"Comity Multisectoriel de la Riposte la Pand6mie du Coronavirus" (CMR COVID-19) 
and "OMS-DRC ' (WHO-RDC). Both CMR COVID-19 and WHO-DRC get their numbers 
from the Institut National de Recherche Biom6dicale (INRB), administrated by the 
acclaimed, Dr. Muyembe, who is also the Technical Secretary of the CMR. 

We are an independent group of scholars and technologists not formally associated with 
CMR or WHO-DRC.

**Problem statement**
Many Africans refuse to receive ADA cryptocurrency because of the difficulties they face in exchanging ADA into a locally used currency.

**Summarize your solution to the problem**
Design of a mobile application allowing the exchange of ADA cryptocurrency to a local currency via Mobile Money.


The application will be deployed initially in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The local currency used is CDF and USD.

The App will work a bit like a Forex which will allow users to simply exchange ADA from their wallets in Local Currency to Mobile Money and do the reverse.

ADA Exchange App makes it possible to receive ADA crypto currency from anywhere by giving the possibility of going through any telecom operator for conversions in Mobile Money. In addition, the application optimizes the structure of conversions to keep fees as low as possible while opening its API to any developer who would like to integrate it for ADA to Mobile Money conversions.

The biggest challenge we will face is getting users to use this application in the DRC. Many Congolese users do not know cryptocurrency, but we hope that this application will be an example of making it easier to exchange ADAs in local currency and to get used to it.
